Venue: Future Mobility District, Infinite Island
What kind of connections do we form with our surroundings? Are we truly aware of them? How could we make good use of them? Yu Chen’s artwork stems from his active observation, reflection, and practice during his studies in London. Using recycled materials and architectural textures as medium, his creations are subtle yet evocative, exuding an unadorned simplicity infused with remarkable tension. At the junction between the Infinite Island Future Mobility District and the horizon where sea meets sky, six sculptural installations, minimalist urban elements, authentic materials, and shifting light and shadow come together to create a contemplative environment. We invite you to experience and reflect: Facing the natural environment and the vast universe, how should we position ourselves? To conquer and possess, or to revere and appreciate? Here, you are not a visitor, you are part of the unfolding narrative. Step into a space where connections reveal themselves.
